MEET THE TEACHERS
CAMP DIRECTOR: ANDREW ACEVEDO
Hello! My name is Andrew Acevedo and I am a theatre educator here in the Bay Area. In my close to a decade of experience, I have worked with high school students all the way down to elementary school students. I love helping young performers discover and cultivate their artistic talents. I am a lifelong learner who pushes my students to be as artistic as they are curious ( my picture is me along with my grad school cohort with whom I am currently in the process of finishing up a Master's degree in educational theatre). I have experience in directing, producing, devising and performing, and I am excited to bring the experience I gained working with Chicago's Lookingglass Theatre's summer camp here to the Bay Area. |

Currently I am teaching the Masterpiece Art Program at 3Crosses Church in Castro Valley. |

I've worked at Great America during Christmas time, which is surrounded by family who I've consistently worked around and was taught to stay in character and help make the magic real.
